Today was cloudy.  It rained and hailed.  We went to see Aunt Linda and Uncle John's new house.  We played games in the clubhouse game room and went in the pool and hot tub.  Aunt Linda and I did a puzzle.

Today we went to Mount Evans, a 14,000 ft mountain.  We could only drive up as far as 13,000 feet because the rest of the road was closed.  We hiked and played in the snow.  It was 32 degrees.  Then we went to a bristlecone pine forest where some of the trees are 2000 years old.  When we came down it was 77 degrees and we went trout fishing.  We both caught three fish.  Aunt Linda cooked them for dinner.  Ughhh.  We had hamburgers.  We watched ELF and fell asleep.

This morning we took golf lessons at the Breckenridge Golf Club.  Took a hike on the Colorado trail and then tried fishing in a local pond.  No luck.

Today started out with snow on the ground.  It was fun, but it melted as soon as the sun came out.  We went to a mountain reservoir to fish.  It was too windy and too cold.  We went for a hike to an abandoned gold mine.  Uncle John showed us how to find fools gold and mica.  We got a lot.  Then we went to a beaver pond and fished again.  No fish, but we saw the beaver lodge and saw fish coming to the surface to feed.  Then we went home and played games at the arcade.

Today Aunt Linda played golf so Uncle John took us back to the beaver ponds where we panned for gold, fished, and hiked.  Then we went back to Breckenridge and hiked around a pond.
